15 facts about Astoria Greengrass

1. She’s the wife of Draco Malfoy.
2. She is the mother of Scorpius Malfoy. 
3. She is her own human being, and therefore is more than just this.
4. Her sister’s name is Daphne Greengrass.
5. Draco and Daphne were both Slytherins and in the same year at Hogwarts.
6. Her family is one of the “Sacred Twenty Eight” according to Pottermore.
7. For those who do not know, the Sacred Twenty Eight is a list of all the true pureblood families in Harry Potter, meaning that there is not a single Muggle relative  tracing even centuries back in the family.
8. Astoria is two years younger than Draco.
9. This means she was born in the year 1982.
10. J.K. Rowling purposely had Draco marry someone other than, Pansy since Pansy represents all the girls who ever bullied her, so she wanted Draco to wed someone else instead.
11. Bearing this in mind, this seems to indicate Astoria is at least somewhat of a better person than Pansy.
12. This is further supported by how Rowling herself has stated Scorpius turned out better than his father, and since Draco and Astoria are BOTH his parents, this would indicate there was at least somewhat of a role in her part that influenced her son’s disposition. 
13. Astoria Greengrass gave birth to Scorpius in 2006, making her no older than twenty four at the time. 
14. Since Scorpius is blonde, this indicates either Astoria is blonde herself, or she at least carries the phenotype for blonde hair. 
15. Although, it is more likely Astoria herself is blonde due to blonde hair being a recessive trait.
